Smoking is allowed on-site; in the designated area only.

Do not dispose of your smoking items in a general bin please use the sand bin only

Summer Solstice reserves the right to implement restrictions, such as due to weather conditions.

Warnings

Exposure to loud music may damage your hearing. 

During performances, Pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke machines, and strobe lighting/special effects may occur. 

The use of drones or similar equipment on or near the Event is prohibited without written permission from the Summer Solstice Festival. 

 There are no BBQ areas at the festival, and BBQs and cooking equipment are prohibited on site. 

Vehicles can only access the camping site with a pre-booked space. Sleeping in vehicles within the standard parking area is prohibited under any circumstances, and car parks are patrolled. 

We reserve the right to refuse structures that are excessively large for the number of occupants or considered a health and safety risk. 

Any Festival goers displaying or inciting inappropriate, offensive or illegal activity or behaviour will be evicted. 

Unacceptable behaviour that can lead to eviction includes, but is not limited to: 

  • Illegal Activities 
  • Offensive, threatening behaviour 
  • Harassment or abuse 
  • Hate speech 
  • Throwing objects in the direction of people 
  • Encouraging others to behave badly 
  • Preventing our security or emergency services from attending a situation 
  • Taking items with the intention of burning  
  • Building bonfires 
  • Carrying weapons

If there are breaches, Security will assess the situation with supporting evidence, such as reports, while security reserves the right to film you for supporting evidence.  

If you are evicted, we reserve the right to ban you for a lifetime 

Any evictions will be assessed on an individual basis using reports and evidence provided,. 

We have the right to film you while we establish the situation.  

If you are evicted, your ticket will not be refunded. If you came by car, security would escort you to your vehicle. If you come by public transport, you must find your way home.

Fires are not permitted anywhere on-site, including camping/glamping. Excessive  

General Rules

  • We reserve the right to implement restrictions/conditions before and during the Event to ensure its safety. You must comply with any and all instructions given to you by Event staff and stewards, and you may be evicted without a refund if you fail to comply. 
  • We reserve the right to refuse admission or to remove any person from the site without refund for reasons of public safety, including crowd surfing or moshing, failure to comply with any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury, or for any breach of these T&Cs. 
  • Tickets are for the Event, and any billed Artists and attractions may be subject to change. 
  • Without our prior written consent, no trading or promotional activity is allowed within the site. Goods using unauthorised logos must be surrendered to Event staff. 
  • By entering the site, you give your express consent to your actual/simulated likeness being included for no fee in any audio or visual recording to be used in any media for any purpose at any time, including CCTV, filming by the police or security staff, and/or marketing. 
  • These T&Cs are subject to change from time to time at our sole discretion. We will notify you by posting the amended T&CS on the Event website. 
  • We shall have no liability for any loss, injury, illness or damage to any person or property sustained at the Event, howsoever caused (including by Us and Our agents) in any circumstances unless caused as a direct result of Our negligence and that which cannot by law be excluded or limited. Any personal property brought to the Event is at your own risk. 

Children 18 and below

When Entering the venue, children under the age of 18 must be present with the ticket holder; failure to do so may result in no entry.

Children (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for their wellbeing and behaviour at all times. Bowthorpe Park Farm and its staff do not accept any responsibility for the supervision of children.

You must act responsibly with children under the age of 18 years of age.

CHILDREN ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY NOT OURS. PLEASE LOOK AFTER THEM AT ALL TIMES.

Material changes

Material changes 

We reserve the right to amend the event as necessary, such as the event lineup, changes to individual artists, DJs’ bands or band members, and timings.  

This covers anyone who pulls out or gets sick, so you aren’t responsible for a refund.

Any personal arrangements relating to the event, such as accommodation, travel, and substances, are at your own risk. We will not be liable for any losses of personal arrangements or wasted expenditure beyond the ticket refund.  

Any personal property is your responsibility. We will not be held accountable/liable for the loss of your personal property.  

  

Dogs

1)ONLY GUIDE DOGS and Approved service dogs ARE ALLOWED ON-SITE 

2)If your dog shows signs of aggression, you may be asked to leave 

3)If your dog fouls/is sick, please clean up; we have no bins for dog waste 

4) Please keep your dogs away from the farm animals. You might not have a dog to go home with! 

Security

SECURITY 

On entering the venue, you agree to the following 

  1. You may be searched anywhere on site, including cars/bags,  at any time by security and detection dogs. 
  1. Without liability, We may confiscate any items deemed to cause danger or harm to you or others.  
  1. Any persons suspected of carrying illegal items or carrying out illegal activities may be handed over to the police, refused entry, or evicted from the site without refund.

Valid tickets must be produced to receive a valid wristband on first entry 

THERE IS STRICTLY NO READMISSION ON A TICKET 

wrist bands are strictly non-transferable and will be invalid if removed, tampered with, transferred or resold.  

Wristbands must always be worn for the duration of the Event. 

Wristbands from unauthorised sources may be deemed invalid, and admission may be refused.  

Please note that we will not issue duplicate tickets/wristbands for lost or stolen tickets or wristbands. 

Do not buy tickets or wristbands from street vendors or unlawful street traders/touts, including online touts/traders.  

Tickets cannot be used for any part of marketing/media/sales promotion without our prior consent.  

You can only buy tickets from the Summer Solstice website or the Bowthorpe Park Farm shop.  

Shop opening times

Thursday – Saturday 9 am-5 pm Sun 10 am-2 pm 

Tickets/wristbands brought from elsewhere are invalid, and you will be refused entry.  

 If you have obtained your ticket in breach of any of these T&Cs and/or if you breach any of these T&Cs  

Then, your ticket will be void, and if you seek to gain entry using a void ticket, we reserve the right to refuse your entry or evict you from the event. You may be liable for trespass. 

Void tickets are non-refundable 

Booking fees are non-refundable 

Refunds are only considered if the Event is cancelled and not rescheduled  

If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather but not limited to, your ticket will automatically be moved to the following year’s event, and no refund shall be given.  

Food and Drink

No food & drink is allowed to be brought into the Festival area.

You are allowed to have food within the camping and Glamping areas.

Breakfast is available on-site from the farm shop. So there is no need to bring your own BBQ.

Glamping and Camping

If you would like to stay in a boutique Bell Tent during the Summer Solstice Music Festival, please use the booking form on this page to let us know, and we’ll make the arrangements for you.
The price quoted is the total for the Friday and Saturday nights.

Each tent booking is for a maximum of four people. This is an essential condition for all our tents.
You can choose to stay for just one or both nights.

Camping Rules: 

Camping tickets must be purchased in advance 

One Camping ticket per pitch 

You must be over the age of 18 to purchase a camping ticket 

A parent/guardian/responsible adult must always accompany children under the age of 18 

Tents/Caravans/campervans must be 7 meters apart 

Camper vans and Caravans Tents no more than 7 meters in length 

No Hook Ups for power/water 

No Gas cylinders are to be brought on-site 

No BBQs 

No FirePits 

No Fires! 

On-site showers and toilets are provided inc baby-changing 

Disabled toilets are available  

Only One caravan per pitch 

Only one Campervan per pitch 

Only One tent per pitch 

All tent pegs must be removed (The cows don’t like them, nor do the mowers) 

All rubbish must be disposed of in the relevant bins. 

Please leave the campsite as you found it.  

The campsite is in a field, and Summer Solstice will not be held liable for any damage to your property, including Tents/Campervans/Caravans/Cars.
